magie & michael - milwaukee wedding photographer

Maggie & Michael's day was nothing short of perfection. The weather was gorgeous (albeit windy), the venues were lovely, the food... amazing!

I started the morning with a quick stop at Maggie's, her parents are South Milwaukeeans, so there just a quick car ride from me :) At mom & dad's, I snapped some dress & shoe shots, made sure the bride was calm (cool as a cucumber!) and then headed off to Old St. Mary downtown. What a church. Nice light, just the right size, beautiful. Fr. Tim Kitzke served as officiant - he always puts on a good, fun service.

After the ceremony, we headed to St. Francis Seminary, and hopped around the gorgeous grounds. I was COMPLETELY unaware of what a gem this place is - I'll def be using it in the future! From there, we hit South Shore Park to get some lake/city shots, and to fight the wind. A quick stop at Groppi's Food Market in Bay View for some toasted sandwiches (holy, YUM!) and we were on our way to the Pfister Hotel for more pics. Maggie & Michael allotted PLENTY of time for photos - thus deeming them awesome.

Food at the Pfister gets a thumbs up. Music was provided by Sound by Design. This was our 2nd time working with them - if you are looking for great, non-cheesy entertainment, check them out, for sure.

Guys, it was so nice working with you. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your 10 days in Aruba, you lucky ducks ;)

Maggie's dress was perfect, classic.

Old St. Mary

Maggie & her grandma. Love.

For the rest of the day, when I'd tell them to kiss for pics, I'd say
"Kiss like you did in church". Hubba hubba.

I love the dreamy effect this photo has (nice camera work, Sarah!)
