heather & chad - milwaukee wedding photographer

We have been in anticipation of Heather & Brad's [uh, I mean CHAD'S] wedding for awhile now... sorry, couldn't resist! In our initial meeting, they were not technically engaged yet, just early planners. Chad explained that when you know, you just know [insert awwww! here], and given that Heather was a bit nosy, he was holding off for the perfect time to pop the question :)

The ceremony was held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls. While one of the girls had a MINOR glitch and couldn't zip her dress until about 3 minutes pre-ceremony, we still managed to squeeze in an impromptu first look, since Heather & Chad started greeting guests before the wedding.

From there, we headed to downtown Menomonee Falls for group shots, then made a quick stop to their house to get a couple shots in with Chuck Norris, the couples 100+ pound St. Bernard PUPPY. Oh Chuck, you are so cute, even though you just wanted to run around and play the whole time :)

Reception was help at the Hilton Garden Inn, where the dance floor NEVER cleared - and we were there until 11pm!

Enjoy your preview guys. We sure did have a blast!

okay, lots of members of the wedding party are police officers, so this pose was a must.

I think Chuck wants to be a model when he grows up :)

Their cake was AMAZING. Included on the tier cake was Cafe Hollander...
where they had their first date :)

scroll back up 5 images - and review a photographic composition of the most notable I've witnessed so far this year: unbelievable work. The Darkest Dark. The Brightest White. And every flesh tone value in between...(And those stolen blue eyes - cool like water but deep like forever: frozen amongst a still & silent, but foremost Content gleaming bride amidst the permanant peaceful embrace of her love; forever entrapped in a dream fulfilled: (pinned/alive - like a rare & butterfly in an display box...forever entombed in a museum of Science & nature...yet not alone...)
