On Sunday, since I was in Beloit anyway, I figured why not cram more work into my weekend :) So, I met up with the Mowers family. Little Mikayla was born just 4 days before Grayson. Kristina and I went to highschool together, and though we'd drifted after that, being pregnant at the same time definitely helped us re-bond. Gave us someone to complain to, which was nice :)
We headed over to Riverside park Sunday for some pics. Turtle Island, the kids playground there, underwent a makeover last summer, so we went to check it out. Pretty cool place - lots of huge fake rocks & trees, and even a creek, that flows real water when you push a button... NEVER had anything that cool when I was little....
The session was quick, about an hour - miss mikayla wasn't all that interested in hanging out, and she was having a rough go withe her newest food group - dairy. Overall, not a bad little hour, even managed to get some shots out of it :)
