little asa.

On Wednesday morning, I got to meet little Asa. A cute, squishy little furball :) Asa had an awful lot of hair, not just on her head [even on her little baby thighs!]. 

Asa's parents were initially worried that she might not be cooperative for the shoot. She really only enjoys sleeping while being held, won't sleep in her bassinet at all. I was a little intimidated by that, BUT... as with all babies, I was ready to wait it out if need be. Not necessary... about 30 minutes into the session, Asa cashed out, and slept, relatively soundly, as I moved her from spot to spot. She even remained sleeping on a wooden plate, with almost no padding underneath [which doesn't speak well to the comfort of her bassinet. LOL.]

Asa, you were a perfect little model - it was super great to meet you and your Mommy & Daddy. MacKenzie & Ryan, I hope you enjoy your preview - now go take a nap!

my gosh - how CUTE are little piggies?!?

I got to their side of town SUPER early, so I stopped at a store to kill some time, and came across a coupl'a headbands that were a.DOR.able. Adult sized, so we had to do some modifications, but in the end, perfect.
