Max [and James, and Zeke... and Miriam!]

Its SPRING, people! [Shh... don't let Mother Nature hear me say that too loud just yet, lest she punish us all with another snow fall...]. Yesterday was GORGEOUS, and today promises much of the same! I took advantage of the glorious weather, and did some shooting. Wonderful outdoor sessions, oh how I've missed you...

I met up with Megan and her sons Max [9 months] and James [3] at their grandparents house in Cedarburg. What a great place for photos! Aside from the huge yard, which included woods, and a super cool bridge, the  inside of the house was a great place for pics too!

At 9 months, Max is ready to roll. He crawl everywhere, and [sorry Mom] is probably about to walk any day now. Such a sweetie, super cuddly to his Mommy and blue eyes to. die. for. James was a typical 3 year old. Full of energy, overly stimulated by the fact that he was actually getting to be outside [without a jacket on, wahoo!], and only into having his picture taken on his own agenda. Luckily, we had grandma around to bribe the pants off the kiddo :)

Max & James' cousins Zeke and Miriam [how CUTE is that girl's name?] stopped by near the end of the shoot, so we snuck them into a couple shots too. I hope you enjoy your preview - maybe we'll see you guys down the road - a full on session featuring all the cousins? I'd sleep for days after that :)

ladies...

Ha! James, I bet you didn't even realize I took this... [sometimes you gotta sneak attack to get the shot.]

Miriam and James on the teeter totter - oh this just screams spring to me.

Did you know that on "whackadoodle Wednesdays", you get to have dessert before lunch? Is this common knowledge, because my grandma sure never told me about it... :)
