This weekend was crazy, folks. Between 4 shoots and 2 meetings, I'm lucky to still be awake typing this... BUT, I do not complain. We are busy, and we are loving every minute of it.
That said, the weekend began with Ryan's 1 year session. We met Ryan back in August, when we shot his 6 month session at Frame Park in Waukesha. Ryan has kind of been my gauge for Grayson [who is 3 months younger]... at 6 months old, Ryan seemed SO much older than Grayson did. And at a year, he seems worlds beyond my little guy [except for in the height department, they are exactly the same]. Its funny to see Ryan at this age - walking, speaking his own baby language... he has become his own little person. I can't say enough that one of the things I love SO MUCH about this job is getting to see the little ones grow up. Amazing.
Ryan was a little more serious this go 'round - a little more wary of "strangers"... and honestly, I think the whole studio kind of wigged him out. That is, UNTIL, we brought out the cake. Oh yes, there was cake. And apparently, it was delicious.
Happy 1st birthday, Ryan! And thanks for letting us snap our first "cake smash" :)
First picture of the day... I don't think he quite knew what was going on yet...
... 'cause once he figured it out, he got serious on me...
like, REAL serious.
quick wardrobe change.
I'm probably biased, but my client's have the CUTEST kids... ryan's eyes are big and blue and glorious :)
the cake definitely lightened the mood...
... it was messy, [delicious] and awesome.
