erin & matt - milwaukee wedding photographer

I kinda sorta knew Matt Wood before I ever met him. He grew up with the hubby, and the hubby has a lot of funny stories from his childhood - many of which he's shared with me. Even the gross highschool boy stories....

So, when I got a message from a "Matt Wood" requesting wedding photography info, I was kinda happy that the Wucherer name was getting business for me :) Because I'm pretty sure Matt & Erin's decision to work with Jen & I [aside from our sparkling personalities] was because they knew Nic.

Matt & Erin's ceremony took place in good old South Milwaukee at St. Luke's UCC. We hit Grant Park's golf house and 7 Bridges for photos and then hopped a DMI Trolley to the reception in Bay View. Can we just talk about trolleys for a minute... I love them. I used DMI Trolley for my own wedding - they are great, the owner/driver is an all around nice guy, and they are air conditioned. Key on a day like Matt & Erin's which was sweltering!

Because we had a ridiculous amount of time between ceremony & reception, we decided to stop in downtown Menomonee Falls for a few pics, then headed out to Davian's to party the night away. Entertainment was provided by Midwest Sound & Light - but the real highlight of the entertainment was listening to Matt's nephews - Christian & Cooper serenade the wedding guests with Beatles songs - and watching them on the dance floor was even better.

Hope you 2 are enjoying San Diego!

I usually get to hang with the guys the morning of the wedding - it can be...
innnteresting to say the least, but I've come to really enjoy watching guys
work out the nerves, and listening to their wedding morning convos :)

beautiful bridesmaids bouquet. say that 3 times fast.

best man Nick's speech included bodyguards and total embarassment of the groom.
in other words, it was hilarious. luckily someone was videotaping it...

Matt's nephew, Carter playing air guitar to the Beatles.
