Its not often that I post personal things on the photog blog, but... I feel like today I have to. Grayson turned 1 this week. ONE. Meaning he has been around for an entire year [longer if you count the 9 months on the inside]. I can hardly believe it. The last year has been such an amazing and wonderful adventure - and I am so excited to see what the next brings - I'm told it only gets better!
Last night I did a cake session for Grayson and his cousin Samantha, who [believe it or not] is only 24 hours older than him. Its been so great watching them grow together - although Sam is leaps and bounds more advanced than Grayson [but she has a big brother to keep up with]. It was awesome. It was also, as I'm finding with all things birthday, bittersweet. Even though I'm home with Grayson more now, I still feel like I don't get enough time with him - I'd guess all parents probably feel this way.
I'm running low on free time now that wedding season is in full swing - and while I won't EVER EVER EVER complain about how busy we are [love you, fabulous clients!], I WILL relish in the few moments I have to sit back and enjoy my own little world here at home. Here, internet, is a snippet of it:
