ellie - if at first you don't succeed...

Saturday morning we met up with Rachel, Derek and Ellie [and Scooter!]. We met this cute little fam back in July, when we shot Ellie's 1 year session. A few weeks ago, we'd scheduled a studio session for them, but upon arrival at said studio, it was clear that Ellie wasn't interested in modeling that day. After about an hour of trying to reason, bargain and bribe - we finally decided to reschedule the session. And we're SO glad we did.

It was decided that the re-shoot should be held at home, on Ellie's turf, where she'd be more comfortable.

Comfortable, indeed. She was a completely different kiddo. Happy, goofy, and by far THE best 18 month old dancer I've ever seen. She sang the words, bounced perfectly on beat - it was awesome to watch! My personal favorite part of the shoot, was that she kept grabbing my hand - sure, she was trying to get me to let her do things Mom wouldn't, but still, we were like BFFs!

It was so great to see you again, guys! Enjoy your preview....

cuties.

pretty sure this is mid-dance... TALL! small....

I think this is my new favorite picture. She looks so innocent,
and so guilty at the same time....

whoopsie.

would you believe that one of the pairs of feet pictured here was
vehemently opposed to posing for this photo? :)
